Characterization of the response of a telecommunication building to a direct or distant lightning stroke

This paper presents the main results of artificially triggered lightning experiments conducted in Saint Privat d'Allier to evaluate the effects of electromagnetic interferences on telecommunications systems. The authors emphasize the diversion of the currents and voltages induced on the different accesses of the building by a direct or a distant lightning stroke.<
