Fuzzy methods for multisensor data fusion

The authors present a new framework for information fusion based on fuzzy methods. In the proposed architecture, feature extraction and feature fusion are performed by adopting a class of multidimensional membership functions which take care of an admissibility space. A test case which specifically addresses the field of image data is presented.<
