Modelling of client-server systems

The paper examines client-server systems and shows the kind of measurements that can be obtained by analyzing the structural and performance models and a combined study of dependability and performance. More specifically, performability measures are presented which combine the effects of violation of deadlines and those relating to component fault/repair phenomena.<
