Performance modelling of a bridged router wide area network

This paper describes the design and implementation of a bridged router wide area network simulator to model the Northumbrian Water communications network. Some examples of typical simulation experiments are provided and conclusions made for future capacity planning and possible implementation of dynamic routing strategies under failure conditions.<
