Performance and comparison of the different coalescing schemes used in the Fermilab Main Ring

The two different coalescing schemes used in the Fermilab Main Ring during the last collider run are compared using the ESME simulation program. The simulation results are compared with the operational data. Finally, possible improvements are suggested.<
