Some complexity metrics for object-oriented programs based on information flow

A set of complexity metrics for object-oriented systems based on information flow models is presented. These metrics may be used to measure methods, classes, class hierarchies, and programs in an object-oriented system. The attributes to be measured are the interactive couplings among entities and the internal complexity of each individual entity. The proposed set of metrics is examined using Weyuker's meta-metrics.<>
