VLSI design of a neural network based image processor

The design of a neural network based image processor is presented. The processor can be programmed for different image processing applications. Mixed-mode signals are used to enhance the performance of the processor. High throughput with small die area is achieved by careful design of the architecture and the multiplying D/A converter.<
