Analysis of a half-rate invertible Type-II hybrid protocol for meteor burst communication

The performance of a Type-II hybrid ARQ scheme code is analysed and evaluated. The Fritchman error model describes the channel error characteristics more accurately than current techniques which assume the channel to be binary symmetric. This equation forms the basis of the performance analysis of experimental Port Elizabeth-Salbu and Camperdown-Salbu MBC links.<
