Chaotic signals: attractor reconstruction and local prediction

A procedure was developed to reconstruct a chaotic attractor and to make local prediction on a chaotic temporal series. It has been tested on many well-known chaotic systems. This algorithm also computes the embedding dimension of the system generating the time series. After many tests, it was used on real electrocardiographic signals. The experimental data are analyzed.<
