A simple approach for estimating errors bars to accompany moment-method and finite-element-method results

A simple method based on Richardson's extrapolation technique to approximately predict the error associated with numerical solutions is described. The accuracy of the proposed error-prediction method when applied to two-dimensional moment-method and finite-element solutions is demonstrated.<>
