Identification methods for dynamic model of measurement systems

Three kinds of identification methods for dynamic mathematical models of transducers and measurement systems are established: identification in the time domain, which is convenient for dynamic calibration in the time domain; identification in the frequency domain, which is used for dynamic calibration in the frequency domain; and a correlation least-squares method for identification of a closed-loop measurement system. A dynamic mathematical model that quantitatively describes the dynamic performance of a transducer used in a control system is given. A parametric model (transfer function and difference equation) is found useful in the case of dynamic compensation for improving system dynamic performance.<
