One of the biggest challenges facing electricity distribution engineers in the 1990's is to focus more sharply on the customer. Increasing expectation of service and the needs of modern equipment are causing customers and the regulatory body (OFFER) to question the reliability of electricity supplies. To address this issue, the author determines customers needs and how can they be met at minimum engineering cost.<
