Electromagnetic coupling through a wire-penetrated small aperture in and infinite conducting plane

The electromagnetic coupling of an incident plane wave through an electrically small aperture, penetrated by a wire, in an infinite conducting screen is considered. An equivalent-circuit model for the analysis of the wire-aperture coupling is developed using Norton's equivalence theorem. The method of moments is used to find the equivalent network parameters in the model. Numerical results are presented for several cases of interest.<
