An instrument for the measurement of the quality of electricity

The author outlines a development project for a low-priced instrument for the measurement of the quality of electricity. The background for this development is the growing interest in the concept of supply quality and the difficulties in the specification and documenting of the physical quantities which defines the quality. The developed instrument, a microprocessor based, 8 channels voltage and load analyser, its principles and features are described.<
