Radio frequency processing in industry is a well known technique which is used in the manufacture of textile packages and paper or in the processing of plastics and food. The authors focus on a novel diagnostic technique, and its modelling, which has been developed in the past few years to optimise the performance of the loaded applicator when it is connected to the generator supplying the power.<
