Performance evaluation of target trackers

There are many possible algorithms and techniques which may be used in target tracking but few results are available on the relative merits of the various approaches. The paper describes an approach used to evaluate the performance of specific target tracking algorithms for randomly generated scenarios which are described by a set of variable parameters.<
