Input space and output performance in the frequency domain for critical systems

A characteristic of an input space is presented in the frequency domain. A relation is established between the input space, a controller, and output performance. This relation shows that the problem of designing critical systems can be converted into a standard H/sup infinity / synthesis problem. A class of tolerable inputs is identified.<
