SAGE: a HyperCard-based GDSS

HyperCard is a widely used hypertext system. It has important hypertext characteristics and possesses a set of powerful user interface capabilities. The authors highlight the important features of HyperCard and discuss its strengths and weaknesses as a technology for building a GDSS. They describe SAGE, a HyperCard-based GDSS, to illustrate how HyperCard capabilities can be incorporated in a GDSS to more effectively support decision making groups.<
