Nonlinear Coil Generators of Short Pulses

Small permalloy coils and circuits have been developed which produce pulses well below a tenth of a microsecond in duration with repetition rates up to a few megacycles. The construction of these coils is described. Low-power circuits suitable for different types of drive and different frequency ranges are discussed.
