Test-bench for ultra high-speed electrical drives

In this paper, a test-bench for electrical drives with ultra high-speeds is described. The components of this test-bench are explained and the respective characteristics are given. The entire system shows a capability of n/sub max/ = 140000 min/sup -1/, T = 30 Nm and P/sub max/ = 39 kW.
