2-D quadratic filter implementation by a general-purpose nonlinear module

It is shown that the general-purpose filtering module proposed recently by I. Pitas and A.N. Venetsanopoulos (see ibid., vol.35, no.6, p.636-47, 1988) can be also used for the implementation of 2-D quadratic filters.<
