Cooperative diversity with selection combining in Rayleigh fading for wireless ad-hoc networks

Performance of cooperative diversity with selection combining is derived and compared two kinds of combining diversities in Rayleigh fading. Also the optimum power control range of a relay node is discussed to prolong the network lifetime.
