Adaptive array digital beamforming using complex-coded particle swarm optimization-genetic algorithm

In this paper, a flexible approach using hybrid particle swarm optimization-genetic algorithm (PSO-GA) is proposed for fast adaptive wide null steering and array failure correction in digital beamforming of arbitrary arrays. Examples of wide null steering and array failure correction are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach.
