RTD activities in the EU framework programme on integration of distributed energy resources into the electricity networks of the future

This paper gives a brief overview of DER-related projects supported under the EU FP5&6 and presents a summary of main results and further activities planned for the coming years. It also presents the current discussions for FP7-smart energy networks, under preparation
