High-precision distance measurement using the frequency comb of an ultrashort pulse laser

Precise measurement of 240-m distance with cyclic error of 2-micrometers is achieved using a femtosecond frequency comb. A compact and flexible system is realized using an all-passive frequency selection and a fiber input of the comb.
