Phosphorescent OLEDS: a flat panel display technology today with a flexible future

Organic light emitting devices (OLEDs) are an ideal technology for today's electronic display applications. Much of the interest in OLED displays comes from the unique features offered by this technology, many of which surpass those of active matrix liquid crystal displays (AMLCD's) particularly for mobile applications.
