On the capacity of dynamic spectrum access enabled networks

A network capacity analysis for multi-hop wireless networks enabling dynamic spectrum access (DSA) is presented. DSA techniques enable frequency reuse in both time and space without causing destructive interference to incumbents. This paper presents a methodology for finding a theoretical capacity upper-bound of DSA enabled networks based on both: incumbent's frequency occupancy and topology information.
