Analysis of low noise three-phase asynchronous data transmission

We propose a 3-phase data transmission architecture for globally asynchronous data transmission to reduce noise. We employ low frequency model and high frequency model, respectively, to estimate return current in substrate, magnetic field, electric field and radiation from wires. We compare the proposed architecture with the conventional 2-phase data transmission architecture, and show reduction of return current in substrate to 1/10000 /spl sim/ 85%, reduction of magnetic field to 13% /spl sim/ 85%, reduction of electric field to 22% /spl sim/ 86%, reduction of radiation to 1/10000 /spl sim/ 26%.
