Fabrication of dispersion controlled and polarization maintaining photonic crystal fiber for high performance systems and devices

This paper reports on the characteristics of the polarization maintaining photonic crystal fiber and shows that it is at a level of practical use. We also discuss the dispersion-flattened photonic crystal fiber designed for nonlinear optics application.
