Modeling and control of the silicon production process system using robust inventory control strategy

This paper describes a simplified mathematical model of a silicon production system. We also describe a parameter estimation procedure and reliable control strategy for robust control of the silicon production process. This adaptive extremum-referring control scheme for the silicon reactor process utilizes the steady state production curve to construct a seeking method that drives the silicon production achieving optimization indirectly.
