Calculations of impurity doping effects in CrO/sub 2/

The calculations of the impurity doping effects in CrO/sub 2/ were performed to investigate the ability of the applications by DV-X /spl alpha/ method. The doping impurities are elements (Mo,W) belonging to the same family in a periodic table as Cr, and ones (Zr, Ru, Sn) with same crystal structure as the rutile. The calculated results show that the doping of Ru in CrO/sub 2/ increases the magnetic moment and the Curie temperature, and would enhance the ability of applications to such as the sensor and DRAM.
