Composition and nanostructure of carbon/silicon graded film produced by ionization-assisted deposition

A graded film consisting of silicon and carbon compounds was developed on a titanium alloy through the supply of accelerated molecular ions, which was called as an ionization-assisted deposition technique. In this research, the graded film was characterized in terms of compositional and nanostructural variation along the depth direction.
