Relationship between Volterra series and generalized power series

The relationship between the Volterra nonlinear transfer functions of a system and the elements of its generalized power series is established. A formula is derived which enables the Volterra nonlinear transfer functions to be obtained from the power series expansion of the nonlinear system.
