On the maximum loading of active linear electric multiports

This letter gives some solutions concerning the maximum available electrical power by a passive network from an active one, where the optimality conditions given by C. A. Desoer cannot be realized, for physical reasons. The theory given in this letter mainly concerns the distribution and subtransmission power systems.
