A new frequency for piezoelectric resonator measurement

A new frequency associated with the reflection coefficient of a piezolectric resonator is described which is independent of the length of the uniform transmission line connecting the resonator with the measurement system. The frequency is also independent of the resonator motional resistance and has other properties which make it potentially useful for special measurement purposes.
