A serial digital-to-analog converter for nonlinear input-output relationships

A new digital-to-analog converter (DAC) is presented for applications when the input-output variation is nonlinear. This serial DAC consists of the Shannon-Rack Decoder and some other circuits. Many types of nonlinearity may be realized in the method proposed here.
