Distribution of charge on a wire in a warm plasma

The distribution of charge on a straight wire of finite length, placed in a warm isotropic plasma, and raised to a known sinusoidal radio-frequency potential, is calculated by solving a boundary-value problem, and using the multiple water-bag model for the warm plasma.
