Single-section lumped model for distributed RC notch filters

A single-section lumped model is used to explain the distributed RC notch filter behavior over the complete frequency range, and is found to give the same values of notch parameters as given by the exact analysis. The model is capable of characterizing not only a notch in its basic form but also when the dissipation losses and the parasitic inductance are considered.
