Recursive algorithm for the computation of the H/sup infinity /-norm of polynomials

A recursive algorithm for computing the H/sup infinity /-norm of polynomials is developed. The algorithm is shown to converge monotonically and the convergence rate is also established. Some examples are presented to illustrate the algorithm.<
