CSIA: a basis for constructing agent brains

A new artificial neuron and related neural network learning algorithm, component sum interval analysis (CSIA) is introduced. The basics and unique features of this algorithm are discussed to include numerical examples. Additionally, CSIA is shown to be directly related to the field of artificial intelligence. Finally, the connection between CSIA and software agents, particularly the use of such agents to train CSIA based artificial neural networks and as a basis for agent brains, is proposed.
