Nonlinear sensitive control of continuous fermentation processes

The discrete nonlinear problem for the design of linearizing nonlinear closed loop control of continuous fermentation processes is formulated. To overcome difficulties with the slow variation of the process parameters, the above problem is extended by giving an account of the requirements for low state trajectory sensitivity towards these parameters. A method for control design is proposed. It consists of an optimal linear sensitive control design and an input/output linearization via sensitive nonlinear state feedback.
