Observation and modeling of human temporal co-creation

The aim of the present study is to observe the human temporal co-creation with the environments or other people using cognitive psychological experiments and simulate the human rhythm production using a forced entrainment model based on phase oscillator. Time series analysis of the alternate tapping with the constant-paced computer signals (experiment 1) shows some modality specific features when the participants receive signals through visual or auditory means. Results from the interpersonal tapping tasks (experiment 2) show the emergence of the temporal co-creation including entrainment or mutually complementary relationships. Simulation using the forced entrainment model showed the modality-specific features of human rhythm production.
