About the enumeration of best biphase codes

The problem of classifying best biphase codes in a compact root catalog is discussed. A table is provided giving the number of independent roots (N/sub r/) with minimum peak sidelobes obtained after an exhaustive search (up to length 40) and the number of skew-symmetric roots (N/sub ss/) included in N/sub r/.<
