Availability-guaranteed service provisioning with shared-path protection in optical WDM networks

We develop an availability model to capture network failure characteristics and resource information for each link. Based on this link-state model, we propose an availability-guaranteed-connection-provisioning algorithm which significantly improves connection reliability and uses resource efficiently.
