Necessary and sufficient condition for robust H/sub /spl infin// control of dynamic interval systems

Necessary and sufficient condition for robust H/sub /spl infin// control of dynamic interval systems is proposed. This robust H/sub /spl infin// controller guarantees not only the quadratic stability of the closed-loop systems but also the disturbance attenuation within a prescribed level in the H/sub /spl infin//-norm sense. The results are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities. The illustrative example shows that this method is effective to obtain the robust H/sub /spl infin// controller for dynamic interval systems.
