System architecture of an internet enabled geo-temporal environmental information system

Internet enabled environmental information systems present challenges to systems designers because of the requirement for efficient spatial and temporal visualisation operations. We propose an architecture based on a set of standard components called a testbed augmented with two application specific components related to spatial-temporal data manipulations.
