Raman coherence beats from the entangled exciton Zeeman doublet in a single quantum dot

The entangled state involving an exciton Zeeman doublet with large entanglement entropy was created using /spl sim/ /spl pi//2 pulses in single GaAs quantum dots. The non-radiative Raman coherence time was determined from quantum beats measured in homodyne detected differential transmission.
