An HDD-based removable medium and its AT-attachment interface architecture for copyright protection

This paper describes a novel removable medium based on the hard disk drive (called "information versatile disk for removable usage" (iVDR/spl trade/)) and interface architecture for copyright protection based on public key infrastructure and superdistribution. This interface architecture is applicable to various media including iVDRs whose interfaces are AT-attachment based.
