3D eddy current computation in the frequency domain regarding the displacement current

The application of the FIT (finite integration theory) method to the problem of 3D eddy current computation is presented. Fields are treated in terms of E and B; the excitation is represented by time harmonic currents. Materials can be anisotropic with real in , mu , and kappa . The displacement current is taken into account, and thus high-frequency eddy current problems can be treated as well as the case where there are no conductive regions (e.g. air coils). For nonconductive regions the additional condition div D=0 is imposed.<
