System theoretic approach to geometrically uniform maps

In this paper we generalize the concept of bit geometrically uniform map and then the system theoretic properties of this class of maps are investigated. By restricting to a particular class of encoders, called bit geometrically uniform encoders, the performance analysis becomes much easier.
